The new fragrance from Frapin conjures the allure of an age when danger lurked under glamour. "Speakeasy" refers to the words whispered to clientele of clandestine bars during the Prohibition era. The fragrance recalls the misted glasses, leather club chairs and fine Cuban cigars enjoyed by gentlemen bootleggers. Speakeasy is a sensual oriental leather fragrances that features blonde tobacco refreshed by a mojito accord. Top notes include Rum extract, Indian davana, sweet Italian orange and fizzy lime. The heart consists of cold Russian mint and Egyptian geranium. Base notes include an oriental leather accord of ciste absolute, labdanum absolute and styrax, combined with a Turkish tobacco accord composed of tobacco absolute, liatrix absolute, Everlasting (immortelle) flower absolute, tonka bean absolute and white musk.
