"Inspired by" is the common phrasing on marketing copy when a fragrance is clearly a clone but the brand wants to avoid claiming a 1:1 match. Sometimes it's literal (the perfumer was briefed on the target), sometimes it's market-speak. The honest read: when a budget brand says "inspired by Aventus," they mean they're trying to capture enough of its DNA that you'll buy theirs instead. Some inspired-by fragrances are excellent; some are pale shadows. Our community ratings + verified-clone mapping will tell you which.
